I know there is an obituary notice for James Dyson the cop that gaurded the house, but does any one know about the cops that investgated the crime itself?

There's also a fair bit of information at the Fall River Police Department website about Marshals Hilliard, John Fleet, and William Medley - who apparently became the first "Chief of Police" in Fall River, the position of City Marshal having been renamed, etc.
